Through this experience, you will learn more about casting. You will learn how to use tools and create a one-of-a-kind ninja weapon of your own design using tin.

Experience Flow (Step by Step)

Choose Your Ninja Weapon or Mask
Select the item you would like to create:

Shuriken (throwing star): Included
Kunai (ninja knife): +3,000 JPY
Oni metal mask: +8,000 JPY

Each option offers a different level of detail and challenge.

Create the Mold Using Special Casting Sand
Form a detailed mold using professional casting sand that defines the final shape of your piece.
Melt the Tin and Pour It into the Mold
Watch solid tin transform into molten metal and carefully pour it into your mold under staff supervision.
Cool the Metal in Water
The metal is rapidly cooled in water, instantly solidifying your creation.
Shape and Polish
Use files and grinders to smooth the surface and refine the details.
Apply Rust Protection and Finish with Oil
A special anti-rust solution and protective oil are applied to ensure durability and a beautiful finish.

Additional Steps for Oni Mask Option

Apply gold leaf for a dramatic accent
Choose and attach a cord, making the mask wearable or display-ready

Duration

Shuriken / Kunai: Approximately 2 hours
Oni Mask: Approximately 2.5 hours

Completion times may vary. Please allow extra time and arrive with flexibility.

If there are many participants, the experience time may be extended by 10 to 30 minutes.
